Dr. Lizbeth Holguin, Board Certified Pediatric Dentist


As a proud mother of three, Dr. Holguin knows the importance of a good rapport between kids and their health-care provider. It’s an understanding she applies to the care of her smallest patients.

Dr. Holguin received her dental degree from the University of Ciudad Juárez before attaining her certificate in pediatric dentistry from the University of Puerto Rico. She is involved in many dental organizations, such as the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Texas Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and Texas Dental Association and is a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist.

An enthusiastic artist, Dr. Holguin enjoys spending time painting and making crafts. She loves her profession, and treating children is the most rewarding experience for her. She looks forward to serving our community for many years to come.


Dr. Yanitza Feliciano, Board Certified Pediatric Dentist


Dr. Yanitza Feliciano was born and raised in Puerto Rico. She graduated from University of Puerto Rico (UPR) in Aguadilla with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology. Dr. Feliciano later attended UPR- Medical Sciences Campus where she obtained her dental degree. After dental school Dr. Feliciano worked as General Dentist in Houston. During this time, she fell in love with the idea of treating children and decided to pursue a specialty in Pediatric Dentistry. She finished her Pediatric Dentist Residency in Puerto Rico in 2014. An advocate for breastfeeding mothers, Dr. Feliciano is also a Lactation Educator. With this knowledge Dr. Feliciano plans to bring smiles to children around El Paso. In her spare time, she enjoys going to the movies with her husband Alejandro and her sons Mateo and Nicolas. She is involved in many dental organizations, such as the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and Texas Dental Association and a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist since 2015.


Dr. Edith Osorio, Board Certified Pediatric Dentist


Dr. Edith Osorio graduated from The University of Puerto Rico with her dental degree. Determined that her passion was to treat and work with children, she became involved in community service and extracurricular activities that enabled her to interact and promote oral health care for kids during dental school.

She continued her education in Puerto Rico in Pediatric Dentistry and specialized in hospital dentistry, interceptive orthodontics, quality health care for infants, children, adolescents and special needs patients. She has been working with Star Kids since 2013 and is a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist since 2014.


Dr. Edgar Perales, Board Certified Pediatric Dentist


Dr. Edgar Perales is a graduate of the University of Ciudad Juarez where he received his dental degree. Upon completion of his studies, he worked as faculty member for the Dental Assisting Program at El Paso Community College. During this time, he realized his passion for working with children which led him to further his education in Pediatric Dentistry at the University of Puerto Rico. While completing his education in Pediatric Dentistry, Dr. Perales was a part of missionary groups where he helped serve the underprivileged communities of Puerto Rico.

Dr. Perales is involved in many dental organizations such as The American Dental Association, The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Texas Dental Association, El Paso District Dental Society, and is a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist. In his spare time, he enjoys going to the movies and is an avid reader on topics regarding technology and science. Being born in the neighboring city of Ciudad Juarez, Dr. Perales is looking forward to providing quality dental care to the children in the El Paso community.


Dr. Michael Silva, Board Certified Pediatric Dentist


Dr. Michael Silva was born and raised in San Diego, California in to a commercial tuna fishing family. He graduated from San Diego Christian College with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology. Dr. Silva later attended the Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry at the University of Southern California on a U.S. Army scholarship where he obtained his dental degree. After dental school Dr. Silva worked as General Dentist in the Army at a base in New York and deployed to Africa and the Middle East. He always had a passion for children and knew he wanted to pursue a career working with them. On a U.S. Army scholarship, he pursued a specialty in Pediatric Dentistry at Texas A&M (Baylor) College of Dentistry in Dallas, Texas, graduating in 2018. He passed his written specialty boards that same year and successfully completed his oral board certification in 2019 becoming a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry in 2019. Dr. Silva’s final Army duty station was in the Southern California desert and he transitioned to private practice in El Paso after leaving the military in 2020.
Dr. Silva is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the Texas Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the Texas Dental Association, and the American Dental Association. He also is a faculty member and part of the admissions committee at the Hunt School of Dental Medicine in El Paso. When not at the office Dr. Silva enjoys all the outdoor activities El Paso has to offer, reading, baking, watching movies, and exploring West Texas and the surrounding regions. He loves the personal interaction with every child and family at the Star Kids Dental Offices and hopes to make each visit a positive experience.
